My Battle

War within me provokes me.

My emotions provoke me.

War within me destroys inner peace

My emotions destroy inner peace

Battling with emotions constantly.

Battling with myself constantly.

But where there is a will,

There is a way.

Inner peace destroys inner war.

My emotions destroy inner war.

Emotions creeping in body,

War creeping in body.

Emotions creeping in body,

Inner peace creeping in body.

Even an animal does war

To get inner peace.

It fights for food,

And thus, fights for peace.

I choose not to surrender.

But always have a choice

Which among the two will win?
