When the world was on a standstill,

When the trains leading to our destinations were at halt,

When the newly intertwined lives were dispersing 

Then I got the attention of music.

When my people were away from me

When they got a new company;

When I got detached from their lives

Then I got the divine support of music.

When I spent days with a fake smile

When my nights were restless all the time–

When I cried to have

Then I got music by my side.

When I opted to speak out my heart

When I was declined to make a start;

When then, I had no option left but to sing,

Then I got a blissful rhythmic tune of music.

When I saw a ray of hope in the sky

When I wanted to be happy like a butterfly,

When they shut my mouth and didn't allow me to speak–

Then I started humming every day as a fashion and found music to be my passion...
