Abstract

Mother Earth

Mother Earth

I nurture you day in & day out,

Not once but I shout.

I give you fertile soil, wind & rain,

From them, you grow your grain.

I feed you, I flower your seed,

But all that you want is more greed.

You pollute me, you make me choke,

Blinding me with Industrial smoke.

All that I give you, does not matter,

You really make my world shatter.

Alas, I cannot request you later,

When you waste my precious water.

Oh God, please stop cutting my tree,

Else how will you breathe free?

Your Mother Earth is calling you for help,

Protect your Mama if you hear my yelp.
