Monsoon, Nature’s Gentlest Boon
Monsoon, Nature’s Gentlest Boon
The drizzling sound of the rain soothes my ears,
Like some harmonious tone to me so dear:
After the sunburnt summer, it comes like a gentle boon,
A long-awaited season after many scorching noon.
Some poets’ influence, or the messenger of peace,
Harbinger of autumn, a sigh of relief to be purchased in lease.
All the pain, the emotional ups and downs come to an end,
With the rain, she pours her heart to make amend-
With the past: with the rain comes the symphony of life,
the smell of the wet soil and the sound of the flooding pipe
That can bring peace to any troubled mind.
It is such a great piece of art one can never find.
The greatest creation of God, the nature’s gentlest boon,
If summer had come, couldn’t the monsoon come any sooner?
