As a few last days 

Of, this year, 2022,

Move sludging 

Towards their end,

As we peep down 

The memory lane,

The list of goals

The jist of thoughts

The colourful dreams..

That we all wished.

All lie...

In some corner 

Of our consciousness

We realise that all those,

Promises of making a 

Fresh Start,

Better Self,

Great Life..

Gathered enough dust..!!

Yes..

These reflections 

Brings us close to 

Painful awareness of life, 

Life is ephemeral,

Time is limited,

Days wither past 

As we woke up 

day after day

Quite clueless..

And puzzled..

The morning of the 

New Year (2023)

Holds a rare opportunity

To revive our deeper aspiration

For an enlightened experience,

And make a true promise

To our Body, Mind and Soul

To move forward in that direction.

Obviously,

If we look back, 

We stumble with sorrow,

Lots more regret and retrospect,

But,

If we look forward,

We will see hope, 

Dawning deep within us,

New journey to embark and embrace.
