Mom

The day I kicked you,

I knew I can fight with you.

The baby mind inferred 

That you are forever mine.

You carried me for months 

Still carrying my attitude! 

You cook with your love 

Sometimes I deny it with arrogance.

But, I should confess;

No other hearth in this world

Can touch my heart and soul as your's.

World says; to love is to share.

To love is to sacrifice,

To love is to bare,

To love is to care,

But I say to love is to be a mother!

Many a time you pulled my ears

To grab me from scornful eyes.

Many a time you must have felt bad -

When I leave you seeing my friends.

But I promise I can never -

Leave you in life!

Even a dog, a worm

Loves it's mother,

How can I not love you?

You made me stand straight

And taught me to run behind dreams.

You stood straight to fight for me,

In the tribulations of life.

What should I need?

When you are the biggest blessing,

That god showered me. 

I can never imagine a day 

Without you, 

Because I came from -

Your blood and pain!

I forget to say at times 

That, I love you!

Not because I don't love,

But because I don't need words

To convey my unbreakable bond,!

The day I came into your womb 

You started to weave dreams for me.
