Messy Bedsheets

Drag me to your bed,

I'm enticed to feel your warm breath.

 

Talk to me, for I'm drunk;

Drunk on sleepy sighs,

Lying there open for you to pry.

 

Take my head in your hands,

Coax the worries out 

and leave them to stand.

 

I purr and moan and

Curl up on your side,

While you caress my hair

With love so wide.

 

My lips welcome the shy sweet smile,

While drowsy on our dreams I lie.

 

Tighten your hold around my soul,

And fathom the unfathomable love I hold.
