Tragedy

Menacing Pour

Menacing Pour

1 min

The sky dark high above

Forgot to slow down

Pouring heavy showers

Unable to bear them anymore.

The ditches all overflow

Making difficult to find hole

Splashing dirty water all over

Moment a tyre roles over.

Drains uncovered give way

Overflowing all that was underway

Foul smell ruling the air

Once called, breath fair.

The natural pathways construct

Loses its identity once bathed in it

The unity of pour and grip of soil

Birth the marsh that loves to hold all.

The clogged waters on roads

Submerged my wheels

Decelerating all I accelerate

Until my car breathed last.

The rivers and dams overflow

Resonance of the bell of danger grow

Leaving mankind cry out loud

O God! Where have you been around.
