Melodies of Reflection

In the depths of the forest, Marie strolled

With a fairy so sweet, by her side she strolled.

"All things reveal beauty in their own way,"

The fairy whispered, filling her heart's fold.

A delicate wildflower caught Marie's eye,

Pushing through cracks in the soil, oh my!

Its petals vibrant and unique, but unevenly spread,

Yet it brightened the forest with colors high.

Marie had uneven features she deemed unkind,

But the wildflower's beauty gave her peace of mind.

"Flaws don't lessen my value," she realized,

Each uniqueness embraced, her confidence defined.

Towards a rushing stream, the fairy led the way,

Cutting through stone, with a relentless sway.

"The water bends and curves, yet full of grace,"

Marie saw that crookedness could still convey.

She pondered the many paths her life may tread,

Some straight and narrow, others curving ahead.

"What'

s crooked can still be lovely," she said,

Embracing the twists, to her own rhythm, she led.

Finally, the fairy took Marie's gentle hand,

In a joyful dance, they spun across the land.

"Your movements may err from a perfect step,

But rhythm from the heart, a beauty so grand."

Marie twirled, laughter filling the woodland air,

Accepting herself fully, without a despair.

"How I am is perfectly alright," she exclaimed,

For true beauty knows no boundary or affair.

The fairy's smile shone like the sun's golden rays,

As they celebrated in a dance of boundless praise.

"True beauty has no boundaries we create,

Except those we impose with our self-critical ways."

And in that enchanted forest, together they roamed,

Marie freed from the chains, her insecurities comb.

For she finally realized, deep within her soul,

That true beauty blossoms when one feels at home.
