Lost In The City's Glow

It's funny how it glows on a gloomy day 

The city that held me till I was eighteen 

Lost in its streets, I've lost my way 

In this city, my heart feels unseen

Yes, of course, I once loved this place 

But now it feels like a distant shore 

Maybe I've lost a part of me, a trace Or maybe 

I just don't care anymore

If not all, a few memories linger 

Like ghosts in the shadows, they haunt 

Nights filled with smoke, my soul feels thinner 

Rainy days, my heart starts to taunt

Let it be, the wind whispers softly 

Through my hair, a sense of release 

But in this city, I feel lost and lonely 

Love and passion, they offer no peace

From the people, the love seems to flow 

But in this city, I still feel low 

Like a wilting flower in the snow 

In this city, my spirit feels slow.
