Melancholy Of Losing

The heartbreak of losing someone close to you,  

Is a feeling when you know the world's doomed.

It is like a diminished world,

With not even the wind that swirled,

And not even a little bird.

It is like a stab at the heart,

The death of your soul's part.

It is like in a pool of lava,

And in pain still not dying,

It is like a dead feeling of singing, "La la!", 

And still force to do the singing.

It is like a withered flower,

Forced to bloom against its wish with power.

This is how it would feel,

With your heart at kneel.
