Meaninglessness Means A Lot

It's been three-and-a-half decades

But lived less than three-and-a-half years

Moments spent remembering

Are the time lived worthier...

The irony lies in what is worthier:

It is not the time spent to earn money,

To pursue a degree,

To build the skills,

To fetch the career!

It is all the time spent with those aimless friends,

Those meaningless talks,

Those wasted money,

Those movie nights,

Those recreations...

Extracurricular moments -

Are the moments well-lived;

Leave an everlasting joy!

When a thing loses its utility value,

It elevates itself to an art!

Less the usefulness, more the praise;

Unplanned and unintentional moments

Make memories out of nothingness;

Less the purpose and meaning,

More the joy;

And Journey travelled to nowhere

Are the most cherished moments!
