Mask
Mask
It hangs over us like a fog
As dangerous as fire is to dry log
We think, we know each other soo well
But behind the mask, we all secretly dwell
We all wear masks that smile and lies
Hides our face and shades our eyes
The mask rolls up and hides, lurking silence and lonliness
Behind Every beautiful mask with a bright smile, the face conceals darkness
Friendly faces, a life full of scars
Trying to sparkle in the darkness like the twinkling stars.
Choking our actual reality
Forgetting that beneath the mask lies our actual personality
Unable to face the mask
That masks our reality
Revealing our vulnerabilities is what we cannot dare
Do they love you or the mask that you wear?
