Magician’s Hat (10 Nov)
Magician’s Hat (10 Nov)
What makes a magician consummate,
You may ask,
Is it his robes, his wand,
Or the fact that he can multitask?
Think hard and clear,
What every magician has in common,
One who performs on the stage,
Or one who’s bound to the streets like a poor man
The clothes, the wand,
Even his spells are trifling,
Ou guessed, Oh, you did,
A magician’s hat is truly bosting
He pulls out a rabbit,
A pigeon or a shimmering rod,
Black it is more often than not,
The contents within, leave me awed
He waves it at the start,
He waves it at the end,
Empty it is at all times,
Without his wonderful hat,
I wonder how the magician will fend
The magic truly is in the hat, I suppose,
That’s the only thing that makes sense,
Have you ever met a magician before,
They are surprisingly dense
