Lost Lands

Lost Lands

The sun glared brightly in the sky

No bird, no animal nor trees did cry

There was no breath whistling in the air

Nor any active or idle stares

Everything seemed to be standing still

As if bowed before God's will

The past and the future was lost in the now

And every one that remained wondered how

But the question wasn't where were the trees

Not was it where was honey from the bees

The question wasnt where the seas had gone

Nor was it why the sun glared not shone

The real question was actually WHY

Why had we left our planet and progeny to die?
