Lost In Translation!!

When she felt no magic in the way we spoke,

I knew she wasn’t mine anymore.

When she felt no spark in the way I looked at her,

I knew she wasn’t mine anymore.

But even before I could look into her eyes,

I was embraced with so much darkness,

that scarred my soul,

with emptiness

and left me in a place,

where there was so much pain.

It turned my dreams,

to be the insecurities,

I feared to face in reality.

While all my unwritten thoughts faded,

with time, whilst

the reason for their inception,

sought refuge

in the words.

I write for the one,

who never understood

what they mean.

The one, who

even after all these days,

and after a million unhealed wounds,

still, continue to be the reason.

My heart beats and bleeds,

beyond its beauty,

and with pain.

The pain

that’s hidden behind,

dark fears and white lies,

thriving to be found.

Only to let you know that,

just because I let you go,

doesn’t mean I didn’t love you!
