I miss me

The fun, carefree me

I miss the way things used to be 

A happy girl, running free 

It's all still in my head 

Longing of those memories cannot be said 

I wait here, just in case 

I can visit those moments again 

I've been waiting for the past few years

To check if the old me is somewhere near 

It's hard to let go 

All the memories deep down 

How I wish I was like that again?

Things got so very new 

Stuff that never changed are few 

I suppose that's just how life is

The old days, don't I miss? 

It's still all inside my head

They visit me in my dreams, when I'm in my bed
