Lord You've Lit

Lord, You've lit a fire in me

Since that day that I first believed

And by Your Holy Spirit Lord

I know it shall never leave.

For those sins that once held me captive

That kept me from knowing Yoù Lord

You took them all as a package deal

And covered them by Your blood!

Oh, how sweet forgiveness is

It causes a soul to sing

To give back praises unto that One

Who is Lord of everything. 

And never a soul is the same again

Who has knelt and repented of sin

For You, Lord come with his amazing grace

And cleanse every whit within!

It's impossible not to praise You, Lord

To praise You each and every day

For You wore a Crown of thorns for me

To usher my sins away

I reverently say... Hallelujah!

For I know Who lights my fire!

Now I've great cause to praise You down here

Until that day when I'll praise You up Higher!!!

Praise God for your mission to the Cross

Took care of all my sin

Your precious blood You willingly shed

So that I might be forgiven

Now I'm saved by grace through faith

For I've repented of my sin

Hallelujah, I praise that Saviour!

For I've been born again...
