LIVING IN NO LIGHT
LIVING IN NO LIGHT

Sometimes, there are afternoons
in the couch at the living room
when you will be suddenly awakened.
Isn't the noise of the vehicles
passing by the street
that disturbs you from being asleep?
Or the sharp chirping of the birds
that freely flying and chasing each other
in the steady cable of wires outside.
Or maybe the presence of silence
that keeps on resonating on mind
because it knows: you're alone in the house.
And you won't fall to sleep again.
Likewise, there are nights
when you are in a deep sleep
and will be suddenly awakened.
There are no holes in you're room
that any of the sounds could enter.
There are lots of livings in the dark.
You've already gone through your wide bed
and won't be stopped until sunrise.
Stillness, like anything else
has two faces.
The pillows and blankets
that'd memorized your motion in the cot
also hear what you hears.
The echo of silence is too loud.
