Little Rabbit

Little Rabbit used to hop around everywhere,

Stopping and asking people here and there,

'Dear friend, will you come and play with me?'

Alas, everyone he asked was busy.

'Dear bird, will you join my for a race?'

Asked Little Rabbit with a sweet face.

'Oh, I must go collect food for my little ones'

Said the bird, leaving Little Rabbit without fun.

'Dear lion, catch me if you can!'

Exclaimed Little Rabbit,

Scaring him and causing a racket!

'Oh, is there no one to play with me?'

Asked Little Rabbit sadly.

'Oh, I will play with you please',

Said another rabbit gladly.

Big Bunny and Little Rabbit were close,

They used to play, run and chase,

Oh, how much fun they had, you wouldn't know,

But they'll be friends forever - that's how it'll go.
