Line Of (no) Control
Line Of (no) Control

The colonists ruled the land
Where they claimed
The Sun never sets.
Called it the white man’s burden.
The loot and the exploitation.
When they finally crossed the border
Drew the line whimsical
With no thought of the future.
Now the neighbors are fighting
On the borderline
Carrying the white man’s burden
Into the future, when the neighborliness
Impacted by the fault line, did rupture.
The gun goes boom, boom!
The onus is on whom?
