Like a flickering candle

The time has come for me to go

You may not remember me

As fondly, as I would hope so


Let this setting sun be my call

Like Icarus I fly, before I fall

The year was bad, our karma worse,

How I wish for this to reverse

So believe me when I say this

With humility in my heart

Life will untangle for you

The day you decide to start


Soon the year will be 2021

Hearts filled with hope

A new sun does dawn

Let this setting sun go
