I crash like a wave on the shore of an empty beach.
The force of the tide both pushes me away and pulls me back in,
Leaving no real way of knowing where I will end up.
This does not frighten me anymore.
I have learned to go with it, and to trust that it knows what I need as well as where I need to be.
Learning to float was the best thing I have ever done.
