Lament Of The Earth
Lament Of The Earth
Oh man, you shattered my joy
Ransacked my abode
And humiliated me
But I was calm and quiet
You have been quite rapacious
You polluted my soul
And vitiated my children
Still, I sheltered you on my lap
You exploited me
To satiate your pleasure
You ridiculed me in pursuit of pleasure
But I was quite compassionate
You deceived many
Who stood beside you
Now you are in great peril
Still, I try to protect you
The demon has come
To wipe you out
Wielding the lash of CORONA
Now, I am lost and helpless
Where is your courage?
What about your science?
Use your wisdom
And save yourself from this tyranny
