Just A Moment
Just A Moment
A time before the dawn
Stillness at its best.
Will the stillness seep inside?
So, it seems
Momentarily though!
Moment to moment
Life is to be lived
So, say the seers
Then I got my moment
Of the day, why ask for more?
I stepped outside
Pounding the earth gently.
My feet and heart
In the same rhythm.
The sensuous smell of the earth abound.
Her lover had smothered her
With rainy kisses all around.
A splash of scarlet red amid the morning blue sky,
Beguiled, I stood still.
Time stood still
Wind stood still
Nature’s evocation
A benediction
