Judge Me Not
Judge Me Not
Judge me not for the shades - the colour of my skin, eyeballs, eyelashes,
Judge me not for the quality of my skin,
For the colour, the skin is something wherein natural selection operates,
Something that is innate,
A thing I owe to nature and not to my indomitable spirit.
Judge me not for my shapes,
Judge me not for my weight, height
;
For these are not constant,
Something out my will.
Judge me not for my region,
Judge me not for my race,
For that is something that is mine but not specifically mine.
Judge me for my competence, for my indomitable spirits, my courage, my ambitions,
The attributes of kindness, selflessness and the emotions I possess
Because that's my inner self and something that I truly possess.
