It's you I see
It's you I see
In the busy streets, there's always a face like you
I find no way to rest my eyes for it searches the group
Hoping to find you among them on the busy streets
A smile I meet torturing brutally my heart
For memories of your curved lips, I see on those smiles
No rest I find on my walks each morning for it's always you I think of
It's Christmas time and the pain gets stronger
My desire to share my passion for writing with you is now but just a memory of long ago
Where we collaborate on events we each faced in life in lines inked
But today is different the atmosphere is moody blues
Where in space I search the sky to read your mind
But only find you in my mind with no inked lines to add onto
