It's Morning!
It's Morning!
Mumbling under his breath, he turned,
As the twilight broke.
"It's upon us, this absurd sunlight,
Just as we were enjoying the night."
"This brightness blinds me," said one,
"Oh! The chatter,
Of birds and humans too," said another.
They marched inside, one after the other.
They planned next night's adventure,
As they prepared to roost for the day,
Wishing each other sweet dreams,
The great parliament of owls.
