It's A Wandering Mind

It’s a wandering mind,

This thing in my head,

Goes places, even though affixed in a place.

They say time travel is impossible, my mind crosses its arms.

And begs to differ;

A lover of the past, lusting for the future.

This thing in my head, it’s funny as hell.

Dreams of dragons, of fireballs;

Of Valleys, of gorges;

Of storms, of nightmares;

And Oh!

Now, it’s giggling over that ‘Bean’ movie from last night.

It’s a wandering mind,

This thing in my head,

But it has got thoughts to share.

Maybe you’d like them too!
