This darkness that seems to have been born with me, that wants to cloak my every step in its weighed smoke and dragging presence, melts away at your sight.

And this mind of mine that rages against this world and all that reside in it finds no greater joy than your simple smile.

I might hate this life, I might see it all as a chain I didn't ask for; a constant cycle of black and blue,

But my love, how can I ever express that you're that tiny tear of light in a stormy cloud; the gloom in my heart can never outweigh you.
