God of sleep appears

Showers instant blessings on the

People who have 

No regrets about tomorrow

Grants the boon of sweet dreams!

Makes the next move

Patting the head of 

People with tears and fears

With a message of better tomorrow

Showers its blessings to sleep! 

Few appeals for 

Sleep proposals

God rejects

But, they drags the god near

By offering pills! 

All of a sudden

God shifted its eyes 

Towards the insomniac

Widening its hands 

Shows the gestures to

Come near! 

When they about to run 

With happiness...

An unexpected punch 

Strikes on their face and,

Shoves them into the

Hall of Insomnia!

Surrounded by the evils like,

Melancholy, tears, pain,

Scares, debacles and break-up

Threatens them to awake!

Perhaps, if mind defeats the guards

Heart will receive an entry card

Then, they would lay for rest 

In the world of sleep!

Yes, it happened...

When they about to enter...

A shining light fall on them - Sunrise,

Again Sunset, Standing outside 

Waiting for the herald from sleep!
