Inner Peace

Alive but barely breathing, catching the only anxious and cautious wind,

Deadly premonitions screaming the trundling thatching sin,

Striving for completion in this hamster race, begging for everything to end,

The liars and cheaters advertising for acceptance to conceal pieces of pretending,

Outward credence to be aligned, 

I'm benighted and skewed in this trend,

Introspective alignment forgot without amending, to progress lost desires preventing my ascend, 

Always trying but the lying keeps me denying as the mind control is frying, 

I'll never transcend, the mind will blend with my common-law girlfriend who impends her pretense of revenge for she resents my defense and will never repent her immense torment afflicted again and again.

This outward pretense prevents my inner peace to be complete, it'll never mend, I'll never reinvent, she'll never repent, she'll never say amen.

The devil inside was morphing in disguise,

the angel subsides from the scorching demise as my holiness is chastised.

Inner peace was always too bleak upon this peak, I'm at the edge ready to die.
