Independence Day

After our real moms, comes India, our mother,

And here after each success comes another.

And because of this, the British came here to trade,

But India, our country, the slave they made.

The Indians did not lose hope and kept on the fight,

And finally managed to get Mother India some light.

And in the joy of sending the British away,

We celebrate our festival Independence Day!
