In the Moonlight...

In the moonlight, I asked the Sky

You are enormous in size

But moon steals the Limelight...

You are throughout the day, but,

 It's the Sun who is worshiped for its rays...

You are the one holding the Stars

But Rhymes are all about Twinkling Stars...

You are the one carrying the heavy clouds

But it's the rainwater who gains the importance... 

In the moonlight I asked the Sky, 

How it feels to be there forever...? 

Knowing that there is neither reward nor appreciation

And the Sky replied :

Pinch of Praises and Glimpse of Glances are temporary in nature

Not desiring it I am an Infinite, Independent Existence...!
