If I Were The Sunrise
If I Were The Sunrise
If I were the sunrise,
I would be the hope,
In the eyes of the struggler;
And fill his day with optimism.
If I were the rain,
I would be the smile,
On the farmer's face;
Who had down his faith in the earth.
If I were the sea,
I would be the fastener,
For the globetrotter;
Who is eager to see his lover.
If I were the wind,
I would be a random hug,
For the girl who is craving;
For her dead mother's love.
If I were the twilight,
I would be the warmth,
In the young man's heart;
Who looks ahead to see the Paramount himself.
But if I were a flower,
I would be the most blessed,
Most fortunate;
For I would rest on the Goddess' feet,
And acknowledge the peace,
Till I die.
