I Wish...

I wish….

I put my wishes and horses on hold

For my time will come that's what I've been told

Nobody ever holds me when I'm wet and cold

No arms around me to have and to hold.

I'm there at every beckon and call

No one to lift me up when I fall

No lips to comfort my ailing heart

No ears to hear when my heart does call

I do wish that someone's there when I need

And pays attention and pays heed

To pray for me at the end of the day

That I live love laugh dream fly and pray.
