I Still Remember

Written by Kingson

I still remember the first time we spoke,
The night I spent thinking of you, wide awake.
Every word from that moment came straight from the heart,
As if even my breath whispered your name in the dark.

I remember your eyes—deep like a lake,
Where I drowned a little more with every gaze I’d take.
Your hands, more delicate than any bloom,
As if God carved you gently in His quietest room.

I remember us talking until we fell asleep,
And how, even apart, our souls would meet.
Time would freeze when you smiled that way,
And my whole world became you, day after day.

I still remember your little moods,
The silent wars, and refusing food.
That stubbornness, those playful fights,
And me, always trying to make it right.

I remember the way I confessed my love—so shy,
With trembling eyes, and hope held high.
Every moment I waited, heart in despair,
Nights filled with longing, heavy with care.

Yes… I’ve moved on, or so it seems,
But somewhere, buried deep within my dreams,
I still remember that love we shared,
A love so pure… a love that still cares.
