HOLI - A Hue of Colours

I enjoy "Holi" day, because it is a holiday,

Playing with colors, I have a jolly well day

What a way to welcome season " spring"?

It sets joy, sorrows it does wring.

Celebrating the eternal love of Radha and Krishna,

Can there be anything else we watch with same awe?

Commemorate victory of Narasimha over Hiranyakashpu,

Can you not see life in all its splendor and hue? I

still remember the first "Holi" I played,

My lover girlfriend had it all well laid.

Applying Gulaal on her chubby cheeks,

I felt like kissing her, though of indecency it wreaks.
