Counting Grey Hairs

Counting Grey Hairs

There was always this gnawing feeling,

They refused to go for any healing.

It made me shift to Hyderabad, six years back,

In duty and kindness to my parents, I paid it back.

Daily, I spend an hour with them, mobile put aside,

Don't I see them worry less, their grey hairs in stride?

One realizes their parents' plight only when they come of that age.
