I promise to be there when you have a bad day,

To be a shield, to keep them at bay.

I promise to hold you if you feel like you are about to fall,

I always did, I do and I always shall.

I promise to push you back when you feel low,

To help you ace your own show.

I promise to stand besides you when you feel lonely,

I will be your world. Don't you worry!

I promise to understand you when it's difficult to put everything in words..

Just like, without you, there'd be nothing, neither rhyme nor verse..

I promise to listen even when you don't say anything.

Cause sometimes the silence between us means everything.

I promise to be there when you need me.

I will be a guide, a sister, a friend or a lover. I can be anything you want me to be.

I promise to love you even if you hate me,

Hate would mean, for someday or for sometime, you also loved me.

I promise to walk on all roads with you even if I'm barefoot,

Without twice thinking about the seasons, the obstacles and its output.

I promise I won't question.

Especially when I am looking for answers, for a direction.
