I'm So Glad You're My Mom!

Mom, from the time I was really young,

I realized I had someone special,

Who was always there for me,

Being a perfect fixer,

For enriching my life in so many ways,

Who always cared and protected me,

I felt that I could do anything

Whenever you were around me!

The thousands of things you did for me,

Your unconditional love made me happier, stronger and secured,

Your teachings and examples made me confident and matured,

You’re strong and steady as the earth,

Your love keeps me safe and warm.

Your love is a heaven-sent blessing to me!

You taught me right from wrong,

And pushed me to do the right thing,

Even though it was hard to do,

You took care of me when I was sick,

And your love helped make me well.

You had your rules,

And I learned that when I obeyed them,

My life was simpler, better, richer,

You were and are the torchbearer of my life,

Because I had you as my teacher, my friend, my role model and my mother,

Thanks for being a wonderful mother, Mom!

I'm thankful for all you showed me,

Lessons that now bring to me,

So many blessings each and every day,

Your sacrifices and unselfishness,

Did not go unnoticed, Mom.

I admire you, I respect you, I love you.

And I'm so glad you're my Mom!
