Adieu

I tried hard to cage my love for you,

But my heart broke all its bars.

I just dont want to say adieu,

I want to fly with you among the stars.

"Love is blind", they say

"There is no night no day",

But what if this blindness never cures?

What if I am left with broken hearts?

But I still try to trust you hard,

Though your love scares me each day.

I fear you'll leave me far,

Though you know I need you to stay.

And then you left me dear,

You left me in a strife.

But you didn't leave me for her,

You just pledged your life.

My instincts were right,

But I was wrong in my thoughts.

I should have had hopes bright,

But now I'm alone facing this drought.
