I had a dream

When life was innocent and fragile and when life was like living in paradise

I had a dream to be a star 

In my dream I went to places met up with different faces

Walked onto different performing stages and met up with super stars

That was a dream my mind walked those innocent days

Never thought about been an Educationist 

But I did think of becoming a doctor 

Wandering around in hospitals just like mum and dad

I walked into the world of fantasy where life there was real

Walked like a star and lived like a star

But reality bloomed found myself back on earth

Three places on earth I dreamt about in life 

In my mind I'd travel unseen by the crowd 

Visiting them in my dream 

My dream soon came a reality for one place I did see

Japan not just a dream but a dream come true

Hiroshima I did set foot in 1977

Two other places are still in my mind 

Before the sun sets on me I will make it a must to make my dream come true

I had a dream when so young and innocent

I will live that dream 

Make it take me there 

So to not just be words 

But change it to say

I fulfilled my childhood dream
