I Did Not Die
I Did Not Die

Do not stand at my Grave and shed tears
I am not present. I do not doze.
I am not so far from your habitual.
I am the sunshine on dew drops.
I am the first light on the horizon.
I am the tender spring warm.
When you come around from the long nap
I am the immobile herb grows
Of flamboyant flower enclosed by leaves.
I am the moonlight that gleams in dark.
Do not stand at my grave and sob.
I am not there. I did not die.
