I Am Not His Permanant Guest!

I Am Not His Permanant Guest!

1 min 277 1 min 277

You see, I am living on borrowed time.

Before He starts harassing me, I better move out.

My Owner has given me this grace period.

And how can I just over-shoot His generosity?

I may not see the rent bill regularly, per se;

But, it is as if He is forcing me to vacate my home

By advancing my age and reducing my health!

I would linger on, literally, if He is more generous.

Besides, I have to consider the future renters.

It seems the earth has shrunk and there isn’t room

For those who are waiting in the corner for me;

They seem to curse me; “Haven’t you over-stayed?”

My saving grace is just hopping on the wagon;

Not dreaming of coming back and re-install myself

In the house I lived and dared calling it home.

He wouldn’t put out a welcome mat for me anymore.

As is the IRS man, so is He!
