I am a river
I am a river

The only way I can share my world
Is through what I have seen
Till I can still breathe.
Until then:
Let me flow like a river
Through the valley of flowers.
Let me touch them
With my sacredness
And enjoy their sweet fragrances.
I want to feel my freedom
To the extent
That no dam shall stand in my way.
I want to sway like that little girl
Who started dancing on my banks,
While I added the rhythm to her soulful dance form.
I don't want to wash away
Those small mud houses,
At least when I can touch and feel innocence
Of those cute, little hands.
I enjoy their presence,
When they walk over me
Splashing my water everywhere.
I love it when I can reflect
Their happy faces.
I have a camera hidden within me...
Hush! They don't know much about it.
I want to fondle them and flow like a river
Waiting for their lively touch again!
