Humanity Lost in Violence

By Sanjay Yadav

Oh humans, why you fight with each other,

This world made for love, not for anger.

When violence comes between your hearts,

It breaks the peace and tears you apart.

Once this world was full of light,

Now it turns into endless night.

The sound of cries fills the air,

No one listens, no one cares.

Children lose their hope to dream,

Families break like a silent scream.

The hands that once gave love and food,

Now lost in anger, rage, and feud.

Oh violence, why you rule this earth,

You take away every human’s worth.

You turn our joy into endless pain,

Like fire burning in the rain.

Where is the peace, where is the grace,

Where is the smile on every face?

Now only fear and tears remain,

As hatred runs in every vein.

But I still believe one day will come,

When humans will live as one.

Love will rise above the hate,

And kindness open every gate.

Oh God, please hear our cry,

Let this pain and sorrow die.

Give us courage to forgive again,

And bring back peace to human brain.

Let us rebuild the broken chain,

And wash this world of hate and pain.

For love is stronger than the fight,

It brings back hope, it brings back light.
