How To Begin What To Say

How To Begin What To Say

Twilight marked the evening...

 I left...remaining clueless

As to how to begin...what to say!!

As such... My longing for true love

Has fetched me no answer till now

My faith shimmers beneath facades of poignant tales

Waits with bated breath for a suitable rejoinder

In the dimly lit cafeteria

We met after the lapse of a few decades

He held my glance for a while then looked away

We silently gulped our favorite cuppas

Sans exchange of glance and utterances

Crashing waves of time swept my feet off

Drowned me deep down in sorrow

My longings for response engulfed me in dense darkness

Without visible signs of the morrow

Yet, I am clinging onto the loose threads of hope

Reminiscing the pulsating riveting clicks of yore

And the countless unbridled joy of yesteryear

Wish love consummates before the last sip is over.
