Holi in the Pandemic

The cold and dark winter was there for so long, it has finally ended!

Glorious spring has finally come, and the heat has ascended!

And with the start of spring, comes my favorite day,

The one where we drench ourselves with water till all the heat goes away,

Yes! You guessed it, it is the one and only HOLI!

But wait! This year there are very few people,

And the number of pichkaris are also minimal,

And most of us decided not to go down,

As coronavirus was still spreading across town,

And played Holi inside our houses,

All because of the current circumstances,

And with haldi, kumkum and much more,

I managed to play Holi indoor.

Although it was not as good as last year,

At least I GOT TO PLAY IT this year!
