Holi - My Favorite Festival

The cold and dark winter was there for so long, it has finally ended!

Glorious spring has finally come, and the heat has ascended!

And with the start of spring, comes my favorite day,

The one where we drench ourselves with water till all the heat goes away,

Yes! You guessed it, it is the one and only HOLI!

On Holi I can throw water on all the people who troubled me throughout the year,

And leave them inside their houses, cowering with fear,

I can unleash water balloons right from my house, high up in the sky,

And leave people who got hit by them screaming "WHY?!"

I can also give old clothes a splash of new color,

By wearing them on Holi whenever they look duller!
